Advanced Armament Corporation Black-Out Flash Hider & Replica Silencer

You've gone way past that to obstreperous. If you don't like it, don't buy it. No-one is getting duped into paying more than they should; there are other fake cans out there, and any consumer can readily compare the features on there own. Here's one for you: easy on, easy off. No other fake can, to my knowledge, can do this. Is it worth a premium? In the eye of the beholder.
^ OK, fair enough...

Capitalism will prevail. The merchant reserves the right to charge what the market will pay. If you like it buy it, if you dont, dont buy it. I dont like it and wont buy it, but I have also bought other stuff off this guy Cqbservices before and the service and price on other products was great.

Fixed it for you.

This is uncalled for. I have seen lots of attitude like this here lately -, ie - if you don't agree with my opinion, then you are less worthy then I am.

I also see a lot of "brand attack" lately. People are calling other people's favorite brand "junk".

This will not be tolerated at CGN. You have absolutely no right to demean other people personally, because you do not agree with their purchasing decisions. This is getting downright insulting and poisonous to any disucssion.

THis is out of line - I will ask the moderators to drop the hammer if this continues.

Just a thought that if CQB does move any of these units, to provide the documentation from RCMP forensics with each item sold. So that if there is any question by the police or whomever at the range, or 'routine' stop, then there's paperwork backup saying it fake, it does not reduce report yada yada yada.... Kind of like how Questar provided the documentation for the LAR15 mags until it became widely accepted.

MSRP on the AAC website for the flash hider is $99.00 American.

The ratchet spring for attachment is very cool. It should help keep the fake can indexed properly. If a fake can is simply threaded it could back out a bit as you're shooting and cause problems.

Re

Could some of the folks who bought these post their thoughts/experiences with these as I am interested to buy one or two possibly.

Are they still available?

What is the thread on the flash hider (1/2X28, 15mmX1??)

I saw some at Target Sports the other day. Standard AAC quality but heavy and pointless unless you 556 rifle is very rearward heavy (say what?) That being said, I'd buy one for the FH :)

I've seen the spikes tactical ones, and frankly they are not much more than a threaded aluminum bar. Target rifles are machined with a crown to improve accuracy which this unit has, so weather or not that will improve your shot, I dont know. But they do have the ratchet mechanism, and the counter sunk milling certainly make them look very authentic. If I was a mall ninja and had to choose which fake can to gob onto a $2500 AR. Id spend the $300. And no I'm not a Mall Ninja, but I play one on CGN.

I'm sure that, in theory that is, any one of our fellow nutters with half an hour, again in theory, and an ounce of mechanical abilty could put a hole in one...... again, strickly in theory...;)

Fake suppressors aren't illegal in Canada. As long as the do not reduce any noise.

Even if it did it wouldn't matter since they are not designed to reduce noise, only to change aesthetics of the firearm.

Lets clear this up.......

Fake suppressors aren't illegal in Canada. As long as the do not reduce any noise.

Good day guys,,,,, Just some clarification on the above statement....

I know they arent illegal in Canada, and that you can buy them at several sites on CGN. All I meant to say is that the TP-9 cans from Wolverine, "ARE NOT" shoot through units. Wolverine tried and the good ole' Govement said, "NO". They could only import solid cans.

The CQB units, the ones from Fabrice and surely all the other units available in Canada are shoot through,,,,,,, Just not the ones for the TP-9.

So my question is, if one was to buy a solid unit from Wolverine, and bore it out to be shoot through....... Would said item be restricted? In essense, you are making a legal item out of another legal item :nest:

Any thoughts.....

So if I noticed a significant reduction in group size by hanging a muzzle brake/flash suppressor on the end of my Mini-14 barrel, what do you think might happen if this were attached to a FS2000/Tavor/other 18+" barrel? Group size change? Point of impact change? No change? Any theories on this?

Even functional (real) silencers affect accurracy. These faux silencers are simply for the "cool" effect....not functionality. Yes we can fire "through" these but you will most certainly loose a bit of accurracy I am sure.

If the cop thinks the SOLID block of metal is a real silencer, tell him to put his ear next to the muzzle and squeeze off a round . He should believe after that.:kickInTheNuts:

they are worth this much because Rachel touched them. pretty simple.

and I'm with GT what the #### is with you people trashing other peoples economic choices? seriously, is it so hard to just simply say, "hmm, nope not for me" or something similar? some of you really need to get a life.

Real silencers generally improve the accuracy of any firearm. They do this by stripping away the high pressure gas following the bullet. As with any weight attached to the end of the barrel, they can also affect the harmonics of the barrel.
