Ultimately it's your money and thus your decision. If it's what you wanted, then by all means - enjoy your new toy!![]()
to be fair...if it craps the bed ill let you know LMAO
but i dont think that will happen.
I hear the latest-gen NEAs are supposedly better (there's kind of a running joke there, but I'll try to resist the urge...). Fortunately NEA does have a good warranty, so if you find yourself needing it at least you won't be SOL.
ok, i did a ot of reading before ordering and it comes down to this....
have you ever shot one? have you ever seen one in person?
honestly, the majority of people on here bashing NEA (with some just cause....i know the background) have never even had a chance to play with one.
one guy i know tried one a few weeks ago, he hates NEA (in fact he is on here, no clue his username and sounds like he bashes them online too..) but said it works just fine when he tried it.
ivr got another friend who is very anti NEA and keeps saying it wont work at all. sorry but i have a hard time believing that a rifle that is on crazy backorder and always selling out at SFRC and Target sports is really all that bad.
maybe im wrong, but ill know in a few days/weeks....but it does seem like a mob mentality when NEA pops up....almost as bad as that Occupy Toronto group....LoL
I am not anti-NEA....I am just saying the truth....if you do a little bit of searching on the forum or on the internet, you will see what I am talking about.
If you ever want to sell your Ar15...good luck selling the NEA. Sure maybe it will not have any problems, but alot of people do not like it.
I handled Daniel defense before, didnt get a chance to handle NEA because no local store stock them here.
Have YOU shot one?
Also, the warranty thing is not true. I have a Core15 AR15, and wanstall does warranty work in less than 1 month.
warranty is actually another reason i got the NEA actually.
Take the warranty thing with a grain of salt. There's a difference between having a great warranty and not needing it and having a great warranty and needing it. Case-in-point, Stag, LMT, etc.

the bed at 3 gun matches. I have both DD and LMT and they are rock solid...100 percent. Testing how long they can both go without cleaning, just with clp and I am over two years on each of them. My DD is full of sludge and carbon but it eats everything I put in it. LMT is the same. I want NEA to suceed but they are not in the same league.
