advice on hunting rifle for Bison

Anything out of the park is fair game. On the west side side of the park Agriculture Canada is deathly afraid of anthrax and brucelosis are going to be transferred from bison to cattle and they would like to destroy the herd. Anything out of the park is also fair game.
In McMurray they have been hunted as long as I can remember.:welcome:

thanks you guys are awesome

Mmm...Anthrax...yummy.:(

The only cartridges I need in my tool box is a .22LR, .223, .270, and a 9.3x62. I wouldn't be to pissed off if every other rifle cartridge vanished.

we probably all have a few favorites. mine would be 6.5 ackley, 7x57, 45/70 and the rocket laucher I don't have..

There still maybe a way for you to hunt/shoot bison...

A buddy of mine was working in the Peace River area a couple of years ago told me he bought 3 bison off of a farmer/rancher.

They were basically wild didn't let him get too close he went out and shot them the farmer helped clean then load them with his tractor.
