I'm looking for some advice for mild .455 Webley MkII loads. These loads will be used in WW1 vintage Spanish .455 breaktop revolvers so I want something mild (as this action isn't the strongest) but still fairly accurate at 25 yards.
I was thinking maybe something like 2.7 - 3gr of unique behind a 255gr .454" cast lead bullet (hornady # 12458). Does this sound about right?
Does anyone have any mild pet loads they can share?
Also any advice on .455 reloading books/published recipes? This cartridge isn't even listed in my Hornady and Lee books.
many thanks
