"Affordable" Carbine tac light?

Looking for a under $100.00 tac light for the carbine. Anyone had any good luck with one? Any suggestions?

Ive got a $80 surefire on a $20 angled mount on my Tavor...=$100 LOVE IT!

On the SU-16, ive got a $17 garrison LED on a $15 scope ring =$32 ...... yup, ran out of money and made due, temporarily.. lol

I'm kind of "meh" when it comes to pressure switches. I mean seems kinda hookey. Another cable to get stuff snagged on.

I have co-shooters who are going for these since Surefire G2's are harder to find locally.

I like tlr1's at 12 oclock on my carbines. Can be had for 100 if you look for them.

I've shot several thousand rounds with a Fenix LD10 mounted on my AR. It takes a pounding as it's located right by the muzzle. Works fine, only issue I've had is that sometimes during rapid fire it will turn to strobe mode. I've mounted new LD12's on both my VZ58 and Sub 2000. They are the new model upgrade from the LD10 and have the soft key near the bezel, which should solve the strobe problem. I have a couple hundred on each with no problems. Small compact lights, waterproof, good lumen output and takes a single AA. Only $50....

Note how dirty the light is from being so close to the muzzle. Cleans up easy with a bit of G96 on a rag.

Mini14. Picatinnys 12 and 6oc. I would like to mount it up front. Prob no pressure switch.

Another vote for streamlight tlr-1 if your mounting at 6 oclock. If youre mounting elsewhere there is a pressure switch available. Great value dedicated weaponlight for around $100.
