So the issue I'm having is bullets aren't feeding into the chamber there just getting pinched and Jammed rendering the bullet rendering it unusable
Any help would be great
Thanks

Yeah I'm using privi and no gas mods , it ejcets fine the slide comes forward and pinches the bullet between the slide and the chamber bending the bullet head

Is the mag an AG42B mag or has someone stuck a Hakim one in there in the past? There are a lot of these rifles without mags and at one time people were substituting with Hakim mags and they don't always work.

Well I purchased about a month ago from a gunsmith and didnt get to test fire till yesterday so I'll take it back to them and they can deal with it i guess

Defiantly the right mag. How high do the rounds sit in the mag? Load one cartridge and take a pic of the front and rear. Then load two and take pics again. It may be the feed lips. I can compare to mine.

60% of the primer of the top round should be visible.

Make sure when you seat the mag, those sharp little fingers on the front are fully engaged. That will make sure that the rounds have the correct angle for proper feeding.
Also, like most rifles of the time, the AG 42 was designed to be fed by stripper clips from the top and the magazine was not usually removed other than for storage or cleaning.

I just pulled my mag out. They appear to be the same. Mine works with factory rounds, reloads, jacket and cast. The only trouble I had was with 120 gr bullets making the rounds to short and jamming such as you describe. My 140 gr hornady are about a full bullet width from the front of mag. My Sierra 140 match just fit in the mag. Are the mag lips bent. Mine have full contact from head to shoulder.
