Aguila mini shells?

How do you get "full power" slugs into a 1 inch hull? lol

I prefer a 3 inch slug in my bush gun thank you. You're really only going to get one shot anyway, two if you are supremely lucky.

(if you are thinking home defense...which is a bit of an oxymoron here in Kanuckistan, I would think shot is better to keep the bulk of projectiles inside your own house)

The ones I make are 1 3/4". LOL. Man oh man this site is so unfriendly and filled with douchebaggery. They should of never gave you citiots guns.

I didn't want to mention this until I had them in hand, but I just received 300 mini slugs that I orders at the beginning of December I will be trying them out next week in my KSG and Chiappa lever and a buddies Super Nova. I will post on here how they do.

By removing the un-necessary 1.25- 1.75" of wads or filler that are taking up the extra space between the powder and shot or slug!

So I had a chance to go try these shells out a few days ago. Over all they were pretty fun to shoot, but like a few others have mentioned they can have issues.

I went to Phoenix range in Edmonton. Its not the best range to try a shot gun at because of the fact you can't really shoot standing up due to the design of the range. You have to shoot from a sitting or leaning position.

KSG
11+11+1 (I tried about 60 rounds)
3 failure to eject
2 jam

I brought three guns with me to the range and the KSG handled the shells best. You have to be really fast with the pump, or I found it jammed a lot more often. If you slowly cycle, like you could with 2 3/4" shell it jams ups a lot. I think I had 4 times where I got off 12 shots in a row with out any problems.

Benelli Super Nova (30 rounds)

7+1
2 failure to eject
3 jams

The Benelli didn't like the shells as much as the KSG. I loaded the gun three times and only once did I empty it totally with no problems. The shells didn't want to eject properly and I had quite a few times where the shell would flip as if was cycling.

Chiappa 1887

8+1

I loaded the Chiappa just to see how many it would take, but never had a chance to fire it. It was a bit difficult to load, they seemed to want to pop out easily. I didn't want to try this gun from a sitting/leaning position and they wouldn't let me try it in the pistol range.

I am going out to a buddys farm about an hour out of Edmonton in the next few weeks to try the Chiappa and an 870.

Its a pretty light load and not hard to shoot

If someone in Edmonton has a UTS ,I would like to try one out and would be willing to supply a few boxes to see how they cycle. PM me if anyone interested.
