Been playing with this stuff recently, a 60gr .22lr round from aguila. Cycles in my 10/22 alright (also have shot with a standard bolt action), but I notice that the bullets are not stabilizing properly and are tumbling on their way down range, Im thinking a different twist ratio is needed to get these higher grain bullets to stabilize. Has anyone been having good success with these and if so what setup are you using?
Ive noticed it is quite dirty and leaves a lot of residue compared to other .22lr I have used, the gasses from the burnt powder also smell odd and it burns my eyes and makes them water unlike any other ammo I've shot before.
These are the rounds I have: http://www.theammosource.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=6796
