There was another thread abotu top selling firearms in the USA, most of them were handguns, a few pump shotguns and AR's as well.

The shooting population is turning increasingly tacticool. Probably less so in Canada because of our restricted laws and that we have lots of outdoors to hunt in, but most urban gun owners aren't hunting much these days.

You guys mock it, but it is designed to be shot prone and anyone who has done a reasonable amount of shooting from that position knows that felt recoil is increased - as is the chance of magnum eye.

if anything, it reflects more poorly on the modern gun buyer than it does on mossberg.
...if they werent selling then mossberg wouldnt be taking this concept even further.

The only use that break would have is to balance the rifle while standing. Absorbing felt recoil in the prone? Jeez..(mocking)

The only way either of these guns could be less humiliating to the shooter is if they came in that God-awful pink that they make guns in now!

That fold-up handle might be great for a rest for longer range shooting - it sure looks better than those little bipods that have been selling lately.

The little thing on the front will likely come off with an Allen wrench.

If the price is reasonable, I think it might be a great little gun.

This goes beyond "Tactical", it is simply tacky.

Don't confuse this crap with the real hunting arms applications of more practice and subtle tactical elements.

The JIC has merit, would be nice for canoe trips, etc. The other two models being discussed (with the jumbo oversized gill style brakes on them) are as stupid as it gets (so far)

for the price, you could buy a proper stocked 12ga and a pelican case.

or, you could save the money and head down to your hardware store and make your own 'gun in a tube' for about $15 worth of plumbing hardware.
