Because it seems like some of you are almost looking forward to some sort of apocalyptic RWOL situation where everyone is out roaming the streets killing each other, just so you can proove once and for all that the AR15 was the better gun lol.. Like, I guess he shouldnt have tried to defend his toilet paper castle with an sks.. suckerrr....

I just hope if society ever does start to come apart, that people arent so quick to start shooting at folks who get too close to their stash.

the sks was designed for intended use during WW2 not the cold war.

I'd say I am more of a purist in wanting to keep my milsurps as issued, but still that is a very slick looking SKS build you've put together.

Main Risk: Not living your life and not enjoying things you definitely can enjoy because something bad MIGHT happen

Buy one, enjoy it, it gets banned, you can get your money back

or

Don't buy one, don't enjoy it, it gets banned the other thing you bought instead still isn't banned, but you could have bought that after the first one was banned anyway

There is no risk of confiscation.. non restricted, they don't know you have it.
Scenario 2 very probable.
But who cares.
Pretty soon Everything semi auto will be on the list.
You may eventually REALLY need them
 
Why is it not possible to just answer the question instead of going on a post apocalypse, anti government, ###ist rant fest YET AGAIN. We are just giving the anti gunners more reason to believe we are not responsible human beings.

I have several of both. Virtually the same in terms of shootability, accuracy etc. Type 81 wins in looks. SKS wins in price. Is Type 81 5 times more value than an SKS? No of course not, but it it cool.

It wasnt a question, it was a call out for CGNers to get out and walk the talk. Shoot the Challenge, post their findings, and most importantly have fun.

Should attempt the challenge with the 2 of them. U may make some interesting discoveries when comparing the 2.
