So theyre steel plates?

Is there a reason i can’t find them on nij.ojp.gov?
Two of these plates are steel and one being made with silicon carbide ceramic. Please note that these are sold as a pair and are not sold individually.

The manufacturer conducts internal testing based on the NIJ Standard-0101.06. For additional information, you can visit the AI Tactical website at [Link to AI Tactical Website].

Happy shooting,

Josh

Im not seeing any actual test results on there.

Guess ill spend my money elsewhere, since that feels like a red flag

I dont get it?
The plates aren't NIJ certified. Weather they may or may not have been tested internally by the manufacturer and actually meet or not meet the NIJ standards is irrelevant as far as actual certification is concerned. That being said as far as I'm aware there is currently only one company in Canada who has managed to meet the requirements to have NIJ certification.

Because only one company in Canada seems to have been able to jump through all the hoops to meet official NIJ standards for certification. Everyone else either hasn't tested, done internal testing or only sent a few plates for testing at labs but not enough for official certification.

So i have to, as a consumer, just trust that everything's on the up an up? That might be an ok plan for a ar180 varriant produced by some canadian shed.

But these are body armour. 🚩

My apologies I sent the wrong link here is the correct link to all of their testing reports. https://www.aitacticalsolutions.com/reports. There is a contact form on their website if you have anymore questions about any of their products.
Well, I am happy to see these reports. It is good that they are one of the companies that has sent some of their plates to be tested. Hopefully aitacticalsolutions manage to eventually jump through all the hoops to get NIJ certification, we need more trusted suppliers of defensive products in Canada.
To be absolutely fair, I will state that I have bought steel plates from aitacticalsolutions in the past and probably will in the future and if there was no certified plates in the country I would probably buy their ceramic plates as well, which I have also done back in 2022 when almost all the ceramic plates in the country were sold out due to Ukraine starting up.
