I believe they have a coating to help mitigate spalling for a few rounds atleastAr500 and 600 are great material for targets. Ceramic actually captures the spalling so it doesn't cut into your neck and limbs like target stand 2x4s.

It is, there steel plates are made out of the same material many targets are made from.I thought this was body armour? Sorry I misunderstood
Wouldn’t the the ceramic be the better option? It is, their steel plates are made out of the same material many targets are made from.
deleted, didn't realize this was a vendor forum before posting, apologies.Ok, I’m not a troll lol
Just trying to understand
What would these be for? My understanding is for a SHTF scenario?
The ceramic plates are the superior option based on recent testing. AI Tactical had them tested at National Technical Systems with 30-06 rounds, and the plates successfully stopped two rounds with backface signatures of 41.52 mm on the first shot and 30.71 mm on the second.Ok, I’m not a troll lol

We have sold out of this item, and we typically reorder out-of-stock products at the end of the week. Provided AI Tactical has these plates in stock, we expect to receive them in 2–3 weeks. However, they have experienced material sourcing difficulties in the past for both plate carriers and ballistic plates, which could impact our restock timeline.Any idea when you're getting more of the AR 600 plates?
