has anyone heard from them? i have emailed a few times and not heard back. I get this is a pain for them but an update would be nice.

Apparently they were last active on the forum 09-29-2014#03:35 PM, more than a full month ago now. Hopefully they're doing okay, and not dead under a collapsed shelf or something.

Start to worry - there is something fishy going on!!
AIA mags - would be great. Loosing 500 bucks - would be very crappy exchange for trusting pay and pray!!
I just want facts and they aren't forthcoming - I think my observations are very fair. They have my money...

Wow! I'm glad I jump of this wagon a good time ago :s

Yeah...I'm in for the price of 6 mags right now. Or was it 8? Anyways, more than a few.

Has anyone had contact with NRM lately? Are other orders being fulfilled or has there been a complete stop to everything? I don't want to get all worked up if this is just a case of the one guy who's supposed to be checking the forum being on vacation or something.

With a heavy heart, I have to report that this project is dead. We've endured quite a few set backs in the process and with the presence of E-Lander mags in our tiny Canadian market, the manufacturer and Northern Republic Magazine have decided that this project just isn't financially feasible.

Pre-orders will be refunded over the next few weeks. Please bear with us as we work through this.

Thank you to everyone who held out to the end. As a token of our appreciation for your loyalty, we will be issuing discount codes on future purchases to individuals that have not already contacted us to cancel their orders.

Too bad. That licks donkey balls, but not entirely unexpected. It would have been great to have a choice in mag bodies. I stuck with you.

This is bad news. I will admit, I was an early cancellation for pre-order. If these did come to inventory I would have purchased the 10/20's. There should still be a market for some competition.

Seems a shame to scrap something that has been in the works for this long. Perhaps a smaller run of only 10/20's can still turn a profit, and make some of the leg work worth it.

my two cents

This sucks! Was really looking forward to the 10/20 now I have to make due with the little 10/10. Thanks for trying! Now I have to place an E lander order lol

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. You guys got shafted by the RCMP

Be my guest?
Transfer all your guns but one wall hanger to a trusted buddy. Get the gun prosecution insurance, and walk up to a Tim Horton's full of cops with your illegal mag. Announce your intentions, and demand to be arrested.
Let us know how it goes.
That's the only avenue we have currently to challenge these stupid 'opinions' that have the full weight of law behind them.
