AIA Enfield mags - Here in 2014 **ACCEPTING PRE-ORDERS**

Guys, I honestly hope I am wrong about the 10rd limit of the enfield affecting the AIA rifle mag. I understand the logic of different receiver and different mag. Consider these 2 things. Long before there was AIA there was Ishapore Enfields in 308 which look a lot like the AIA (the mag anyway). Also If you had an AR15 and changed the magwell that took a different mag and change a few parts a bit. Do you think it wouldn't be an AR15 variant? Of course it would be, and still be restricted. I know some of you have cursed me. I have read some epic e-mails since I brought this up. I am really just trying to make sure we come out clean on this. I hope NRM get the nod for the 20rd, I really do. The RCMP wrecking ball struck the Swiss Arms wall and the CZ858 wall, but it's still bouncing around and I'm watching it closely for something else getting smashed.

A while back we said we were working on getting some AIA Enfield mags chambered in .308 Win. It looks like everything is now a green light.

We've finalized the design process with a major North American company and received approval from the Federal Government to Import the mags. These AIA mags will be all steel, parkerized and have a 20 round capacity. The introductory price is $74.99/mag. Please bear in mind that we chose to use a manufacturer with excellent reputation and a higher quality finishing material, so the price is a bit higher.

Now we just need to get a grasp on numbers...

What do you think CGN? How many do you want?
Pre-orders will open after we finalize the sample QA/QC testing.

Also, before people start "rocking the boat", these magazines are designed for the AIA Enfield rifle chambered in .308. They will function exactly the same as the original AIA Enfield magazines.

**Edit to note that I'm not going to give a firm date on when these magazines will arrive. It will be in 2014. Probably early summer at the absolute earliest. I'll post more details about the pre-order after the QA/QC is finished.

If they fit my Norinco M305, put me down for 6 to 10.

My custom Remington 700 tube gun takes AIA mags. They were cheap at the time it was built and 10rd mags were needed for the BCRA tac shoots.

I just bought an AIA M10 myself. Unlike my original Lee Enfield No. 4s, (including the ones converted to shoot 7.62Nato) as far as I can see, it does NOT have a charger guide to allow loading the magazine IN the rifle using stripper clips. Which means it can most effectively be reloaded by exchanging detachable mags that are reloaded OFF the rifle (and that is especially true when using something other than iron sights, as the designed scope rail goes over the chamber anyway).

Unfortunately, my rifle came with a single magazine.

So if I can get additional mags designed specifically for it - in 5, 10 or 20 round capacity - I'll grab all I can get while the getting is good. (And even though there is a specific 10-round mag exemption in the regs for the Lee Enfield, since there are NO magazine limits for bolt action rifles, there is absolutely nothing to prevent use of a magazine that holds MORE than 10 rounds in the AIA version of the Lee Enfield as long as said magazine is designed and manufactured specifically for the AIA Enfield...)

Consider me good for about 6 to start.
