AIA Enfield mags - Here in 2014 **ACCEPTING PRE-ORDERS**

So no clear answer yet on the capacity? What are they going to be pinned at if anything?

Frankly, it doesn't matter what the maker "pins" them at. If the manufacturer wants to make them as 20-round magazines but 'pin' them at 10 rounds to make it easier for dealers to import them across the Canadian border, the manufacturer is perfectly free to do so. And once they arrive, anybody who buys them is equally free to "unpin" them - and that will be PERFECTLY LEGAL. Why? Because, once again, they are magazines designed for a BOLT ACTION rifle, and as such THERE IS NO LEGAL LIMIT ON THEIR CAPACITY. Period.

And before anybody starts quoting section 3(2) of the Regulation again, that is an EXEMPTION clause. And an exemption clause CANNOT in law operate as a limitation clause. Period.

Very true I got the K98 Mauser Trench Mag from Corwin Arms and it is a 20 rounder but pinned to 10. The folks from Corwin said they did it to avoid any bull*hit from the federalies. Removed the rivet and now I got 25 rounds of 8MM death just waiting for the zombies to attack!

Not quite 8mm, but 25 rounds is nothing to sneeze at.
Oh 7.92 so close yet not quite.

Though I have been debating getting an enfield in a newer cartridge, put me down for 2 or 3.

Why is there not a Canadian manufacture making magazines for the Mossberg MVP bolt action rifle. Make 30 round mags that say on them "For Mossberg MVP only".

To OW,

Don't give them too many ideas otherwise THAT group will start testing mags for trial fit before they approve mags in the Canadian market.

Someone already did that with a much bigger caliber (name can not be mention here) and THAT group appears to have problem with the mag so we have yet to see an official letter stated they are legal.

Tried to PM you, got an error message. Is there a waiting list I can get on? Looking for 4 magazines to go with my AIA M10 B3...

I'm late responding to this thread, and would prefer 10 round mags. If the larger 20 round ones were the only ones available, I would still get some, but 10 works better for me.
