I have a McMillan A-5 on a 700P and it is the cats's ass. It is the most comfortable stock I have ever used. Someone mentioned about Robertson stocks made to order. I ordered my A-5 directly through McMillan and it a custom stock in every sense of the word. Robertson stocks are Canadian and I support Cdn companies when I can but if I am paying the money, I want what I think is the best. I don't shoot benchrest, it doesn't appeal to me. If Robertson stocks are comparible to McMillan for sniper type rifles used in field conditions, not on a range with known distances, benches and flags up to the hoop, why are the Marines not using them, why were they not used to replace the wood stocks on the C-3, or the new Timberwolf from PGWDTI, a Canadian Company. This is not a knock against Robertson Stocks, I am just curious.
