Anyone knows if its just a bolt-on on a Glock G5 MOS? Think it would look pretty neat on a glock considering it's already blocky.
No need to be an expert to have common sense. An enclosed system just makes a lot more sense than an open one.But I am not an expert on the subject so I will have to defer that to people with more experience with dotted handguns than me.
You would need an Acro specific adapter plate, as its mounting is unique to the Acro

the only downside to the Acro I've heard so far is battery life, it sucks. But the guys running them love them.
Bartok5 how long you had yours?
I've only had my first ACRO for about 3 months, so have not yet experienced a battery life--cycle. I,lllllĺĺļ FWIW, have heard that 6 months is realistic on a medium brightness setting...
That doesn't make sense. Aimpoint advertises 1.5 years at setting 6 and at least 1 year at 7... and Aimpoint is known for giving accurate and relatively conservative battery estimate values.10 days is what my friends are seeing for runtime at a medium setting.

I’ve heard bad things about the battery life. I would personally wait until they figured it out.
Mine has been on since I received it on about April 18th, so three months now? Medium brightness, no signs of stopping. I think your friends' optics need to be replaced if that's the runtime they're seeing.

my next pistol will be an g45 with the mos and a acro, with ameriglo suppressor low profile sights, after that it's all downhill. Once the battery issues are worked out? If there are any? Iron sights on a pistol will be like a buis on a rifle, "just in case". Change the battery on your birthday or at your re-qual, and don't look back.
traitor, you won't wait for the sfp9 or?
