airsoft bb's in a shotgun shell?

I tried this with salt loads when I was a kid and when tested against plywood and sheet metal at close range they blasted right through, too powerful for the intended task.

I know a few older guys who got the rocksalt treatment while raiding gardens as kids... they attest to its effectiveness

most 'less lethal' rounds and munitions come with a manufacturer warning against using them inside of 20 meters, not really ideal inside the average home.

good point, plus id prefer to not have to patch a hundred little holes from bird shot or anything. one hole from a slug is easier to fix
