edit: Review & pics of my King Arms M14 RAS on page 3

Ok, now that I got your attention... this is a damn freaking AIRSOFT product  (from G&P, Hong Kong).

Why can't we have this stuff for real rifles ?!

Anyway, it looks cool & they say it's made of aluminum 6063 & Steel

That is a copy of the Knight's Armament Corp M14 RAS.

The real item is very hard to find and not cheap.

They retail for $525.00 U.S.

I had the Knights M14 RAS and it is a very nice piece of kit. They only reason I sold mine off was to finance my SAGE EBR purchase.;)

You can see quite a few pics from A-Stan & Iraq of M14s with the KAC M14 RAS mounted on them.

Airsoft copy made in China might work just fine on your M305 :D

KAC makes some neat stuff though. Maybe you can source one from battlerifles

So it's a KAC replica ... no wonder, it's a chinese company from Hong Kong

Since this rail is made from the same manufacture as the Aimpoint & Leupold replicas that Jackyiscxd is selling here (see the dealer forum), this might just be a functional item for our Norc M14s and it could probably make it's way to Canada... hummm. interesting.

There are at least 3 Chinese companies that make KAC knockoffs for the M14 type rifles. As a matter of there is a forum member that put a King Arms RAS on his M305 and says it works just fine. Do a search here for King and I'm sure you'll find the thread. On his set up he also installed a Sage retractable butt stock (Meant originally for a Remi 870) Good looking rig.

Just found the thread:

You can find these copies for sale on the Airsoft Canada webforum.

Dave's Surplus in B.C. may have them as well as they carry a lot of airsoft gear.

Yeah - no way I would pay that much for a knock off.

I just paid $1100 for a real Sage stock and I don't miss a single penny, considering that I was lucky enough to actually find one.

Just to let you know my airsoft RAS seems to be working okay for the few times I've had it to the range. Finally figured out the Aimpoint and have no problem hitting a 14" gong at 200 yards off the bench with this set up. The only change I've had to make was wrap a shim around the side attachment screw as the hole was larger then the screw and loctite it....Bob

BOB could you please post pics of your setup:)

On the first page of this thread someone posted a link to a past thread with my photo's. Thats my sand colored shorty with the Aimpoint, navy front sight, AR flashider, 18.5+" barrel and the Sage Remington 870 collapsible attached to the norc wood. Haven't played with reloads yet but will be looking for a moose with it this fall...Bob

Great job on yours Bob. I ended up taking too much wood off and scrapped my project.:( I think I do a better job working with M4 collapsibles and folders. Got those down pat.:) Hope you get your moose

Yea I was worried about having enough stock to attach to so where the Sage would mate with the Remington.I cut that plate off the Sage, removed about an inch of the square steel tube between the rail guides and welded the plate in there at a 90 degree angle to the stock. It gave me more wood to work with and thats a good thing any time.....Bob
