I was a little hurt by that keyboard commando comment, mostly because it was WAY to close to home. I saw that stupid sabre versus mig/ AK versus AR show.
I thought I had pretty much got it right though. They are really 2 very different weapons and they each have their strong points. An AR series rifle is perfect for a profesional soldier who will maintain it properly and can take advantage of the
accuracy. A third world militia is probably better off with the AK they are already used to. A noteable exeption would be a profesional soldier who spends most of his time in a car, then a folding stock would be worth some trade off's. If you guy's with the practical experience would point out where I went wrong I will promise not to start a 9mm versus 45 thread?
I liked seeing the pic of the car AK. It looked like a low rent version of those cut down AK's they found with the Hussain kids. Those psycos had some cool toys(and some tacky ones) chrome plated custom cut down 7.62 AK's with nike symbols ,a Boys anti tank rifle and my fave the gold plated browning knock offs in a velvet bong case that Hussein gave out as gifts.
