I fear all they’ll do is just not allow transport of CZ858 and Swiss Arms to the range eventually anyway....

Of course, that is unquestionably the liberal long game. But that doesn't mean that we can't use the apparent double-standard against an unfriendly government during the period of time that they decide to "play nice" by allowing the CZ and Swissarms transport. At the very worst, such a challenge would simply hasten the inevitable by prompting the libs to close the CZ/Swissarms transport window sooner than they might have otherwise....

I once told an RCMP officer he wasn't legally transporting his personal SIG MCX. He had it at a gun store in its original cardboard box with no lock for the gun. He wasn't in uniform either. I saw him walk into the store and place the box up on the counter. Then he pulled out the gun and I told him he can't do that. He then told me he's a cop and doesn't follow the same rules as the rest of gun owners do. I then told him, if you're a cop and you really can commit this double standard, then I hope the next time you see someone committing a paper crime with their restricted firearm that you look the other way and not hit them with the book.
