Alberta Big Game Draws

My son is an engineer with Canadian Pacific Railroad, out of Lethbridge. He never mentioned anything to me about any incidents with antelope........so far, so good.

There was one in Southern Saskatchewan. We'll have to wait until July/August after they're done doing their herd count to see if it'll affect quotas.

My plans are to complete the necessary federal (ATF) paperwork and hunt Montana for speed goats.

Wyoming is the way to go for goats but Montana is alright too and pretty easy to draw.

First year in like 12-15years I managed to get opening week/weekend off work. Calling elk with my 5 year old instead. She’s still mad she doesn’t get her own gun to shoot deer with yet!

I'm going to 999 everything as well. I got my moose last year and I won a guided caribou hunt through WSFA for this year. My luck has been pushed far enough...

Yup, it's July 14th, with the exception of antelope, which will be August 12th. Also, information on undersubscribe big game will be available on July 14th. Good luck to all applicants!

My fall is up in the air so I 999'd just about everything, even though I could draw a bull moose tag just about anywhere in the province or draw a trophy antelope tag. Hopefully next year I can make some concrete plans.

The results aren't up on the regular Alberta Relm Website, but if you download the Alberta Relm App to your phone, you can see your results starting yesterday.
