Well fellow Albertans, any luck on the draws this year??

I just checked and looks like I scored antlered moose and anterless Mule doe!

Pumped for this season :)

I was 8th priority for rifle this year on bull moose. Applied for 232, which is my normal stomping grounds. I haven't taken up the bow yet unfortunately. My Dad's really into it though. I think it would definitely be more thrilling hearing that big bull crash towards you!

But hey, moose meat is moose meat!!

I'm hopeful that there is a big one in that zone, being the closest to Suffield. Over the past 10 years I've spied some good bulls, but nothing to write mother about. I'm not only looking for a big bull, moreover; a great quality hunt, stalk and humane kill. Recently, (month ago) I have been in contact with the Fish and Wildlife Biologist out of Lethbridge. He (Mike) informed me that "only" 5 bull tags and 5 cow tags were issued for the entire three zones. Hunting pressure should be at a minimum, quality hunt at a maximum.
