I did this shoot last year and had a blast. The community that shows up for this shoot actually makes it. Very relaxed atmosphere. Great organization, great group of very skilled competitors and a prize table to envy. Highly recommended. I'd be there but "she that must be obeyed" says we are going to a wedding.

Just one more newbie question.

Should we show up Friday night or Saturday morning? Does everyone stay until Sunday or do some people leave after the dinner on Saturday?

I'm just looking at the entry form and it says the 9th and 10th but I don't see anything scheduled for the 10th.

I'll be arriving about mid day on Friday. Camping Friday and Saturday nights. I'll be leaving Sunday around mid day.

In modest preparation for the joker challenge in this upcoming event, I ran my 7gunworks out to 1000m to just plain see if I could. Wow is that rewarding!

Then tried 1100 meters... ran out of scope adjustment at 42 moa and then held 2' high and 4' right for wind... only two hits out of 8 instead of 6 at 1000. 1200! that'll be worth a joker alright.

Looking forward to the event and meeting a great bunch or fellow casual shooters.

Definitely worth coming out on the Friday night and meeting everyone. We start pretty early on Saturday morning. Sunday we head out again and for the guys interested we set up targets on the long stage and pound some steel for the morning from about 600m out to the 1200m and just have some fun before clean up and travel home. But that means you have to help clean up!!

I'd probably be interested in the group site as well. My tent is really small so no one will even notice that I'm there
