Alberta Poker Rally 2016

Curious to know if we will be able to ride our quad from the campsite to the first stage or on will need to drive a truck and unload it at first stage. I carry my quad in my trailer and hope it can stay set up at campsite for the day. Looking forward to the event.

Just wanted to post up that the province has issued an ATV ban in the back country . Not sure how long this will be in effect so I'll ask everyone to be prepared to drive the rally course in their primary mode of transportation. If this changes I will post up the amended advisory.

Steve,

Thanks for the mindful updates on the event.

How demanding is the rally course?

I'm wanting to attend the shoot, but on the fence if I can make it or not.

Thanks.

The longest walk is from the truck to the shooting stages - likely about the same as the walk to the crapper at the average campground - not sure which one has more explosions though lol. It's an easy walk, not something to worry about at all.

The actual "course of fire" is not overly challenging either. There are targets that will be achievable for the average shooter all the way up to avid shooters. This event is designed for all participants to be able to get out and enjoy themselves, meet new people, and have a good time. It truly isn't about competition, but getting together for a great event and sharing a common interest.

Hope to see you out there.

Thanks, but I meant more for vehicles... =)

The bit about camp ground explosions had me chuckling though.
