My one BIL I hardly ever get to hunt with and I are both priority 9 as of next year. I think we will have to hire your services as we have given up on the Ya Ha.

Last year I saw 3 big 6 point bulls in 102 when I was hunting mule deer. I was surprised, but this year talking to some landowners they say there's been a herd of 40 or more in the area. The problem is you need so much priority to get a draw!

Unless they get a population explosion down there the priority will have to stay high or it will soon been wiped out. It's almost like a trophy elk hunt, not just an antlered hunt if you get what I mean. Like saving up to go on that guided hunt just once in your life where you get a crack at a monster in a spot where you have a good chance of success.

Nugget thinks I am crazy building priority for so long but if that's what it takes to get a decent one then so be it, I'm having not much luck in the general zones.

ontario will likely have its first elk hunt within the next few years. getting drawn for one of the few tags being offered will be like winning the lottery.

Well i think 2 of the bulls were killed today as i saw a grey van come threw town with to big Elk Racks tied to the top of the van
