All your going to get is very positive reviews, I don't think I've ever heard anybody say anything bad about them. My dealings with them have always been top notch.

Seen their products in person in use at ranges, GODLY is all I can say for their workmanship.

Canadian and very nice products but overpriced in my opinion. ATRS has defended their prices by saying they need to generate the income required to pay their talented machinist, for their fancy CNC machines and general overhead expenses. Ok that's fair and one can charge what the market will bear. Free enterprise. However, over $500 to chamber and crown a barrel and open up a barrel channel to accept a larger diameter, is way too much. I even was supplying the reamer. I'll stick with my regular smith who charges less than half and is well known for doing exceptional work, even though he is damn grumpy sometimes.

Terrible especially Rick that guy will treat you so good its disgusting like ask a dumb question and get a good answer ask a good question get a great answer like really who does that. Unless you want a reputable gun smith/builder who knows his stuff and will stand behind his product go somewhere else cuz these guys are just that terrible.

Ps. Did i mention its 100% Canadian like really what's that about ewwwwww

You know, when it comes to products you would be hard pressed to find better. Ego's personalities and people sometimes can get in the way, but do not let that affect your opinion on the products. Their stuff is EXCELLENT. Buy with confidence, they back what they sell.

Have one of their AR barrels, top quality and excellent service as well. Expensive? Yes, but they are a top tier manufacturer, and are also a pretty small operation. The fact they are Canadian should also be a little more incentive to use them as well.

I'd buy a daniel defense over an ATRS gun any day of the week. Way over priced and proprietary features. I believe their gen 4 lower is milspec which is a start.

No it's not, but then neither is DD's. Neither are full-auto. Neither are inspected by a government agent.

Between the US and Canada there are 3 manufacturers who build or have built mil-spec AR15s. Colt, FN, and Diemaco/Colt Canada, and the last one builds to Canadian mil-spec, not American, though I'm not certain how significant the differences are.

Mil-spec as applied to civilian rifles is a pure marketing term. The real question is quality.

The top of the line US made rifles (KAC for example) are not as expensive at ATRS. They make the upper/lower in house, eveything else is made by someone else and fit/finished by them.
Most expensive doesn't always equate to the best....

+1

I actually considered ATRS until I received the quote for my build. My KAC cost about 1K less for similar specs and no DPMS parts.

IF we could sell our AT15s in the USA we could ramp up production and be more competitive as the market there is HUGE compared to what exists in Canada.
Also IF we could get the State subsidies and wage considerations that exist in the USA, we could lower prices considerably.
Unfortunately Canadian banks, and government treat firearms manufacturers like pariahs and zero financial support is available. Having to compete with oil field machine shops locally drives labor costs up significantly as well. I KNOW what my friend Glenn Harrison is paying his machinists at Defiance and have had conversations with Glenn Seekins about this as well. IF we were to move to the USA and start up production in say Idaho or Wyoming the overhead for the shop would drop 60% and wages would be less than 50% of what we have to pay currently.

As a result many folks in Canada either can not afford our products or do not appreciate the extreme high quality of our products.

No need to make excuses. Be proud of the products you make, and service those who come to you, and ignore those who naysay. You cannot please everyone.
