That is the most beautiful piece of hardware I've seen in a long time. NIIIIICE!!!
The success or failure is judged by the market, by the consumers.
Just so we are all on the same page here, there are many prices being floated around. To set the record straight our AT15 lower WITHOUT the LPK is $550.00 This INCLUDES the ambi bolt release and the upper tensioning device and the captured detents AND the professional installation and test firing with any LPK you choose, either for us to supply at additional parts cost or you to provide.
Also please note that despite the added features and improvements that our Gen 4 lowers offer, the price has not changed since we started to manufacture AT15s in 2008.
I have no axe to grind with ATRS and to be honest I was looking at your lowers a while back.
Unfortunately this $550 price without the LPK is not shown on your website and if I recall correctly I was told you wouldn't sell your lower without an LPK.
I bought a Noveske that was available at the time because I already had my components for the lower.
Hopefully my next one will have a maple leaf on the side of it.
I am also eagerly waiting on your magazines.
It would seem we had some miss-communication then. We have since the inception of our Gen 4 lowers preferred to install the LPK here, but everyone has always had the option of supplying their own LPK.

Quoting the link you supplied there is no mention of a stripped or partially stripped lower.
There is also mention that they will only ship as an assembled lower.
So to clarify I can send you my own LPK and you will install the components and charge me $550 for the lower? If this is correct it's a great price.

AT15 Billet Lower Receiver
$685.00
Gen4's Now Available
This is the highest quality AR lower available in Canada. They are CNC machined from billet 7075 aluminum as opposed to cast from 6061 aluminum. This has allowed us to tighten up our tolerances considerably over a standard forged lower and has allowed us to employ several features not available in most "off the shelf" AR's. The magwell is EDM'd for flawless feeding and magazine fit with the Magpul PMag and CAA mags and features a generous flare for faster, easier mag changes. An adjustable spring loaded tensioning device has been placed under the rear take down pin to ensure the tightest possible fit between the upper and lower receivers. The finish is Mil-Spec Type III hardcoat anodizing. A couple of features we have added to our lower receivers are the rear takedown spring and detent are captured. We have employed a ball bearing for the safety as opposed to a sharp brass detent for smoother operation of the safety. We have also captured the safety ball bearing and spring with a set screw which allows you to adjust the stiffness of the safety. Our Gen 4 lowers have a built in ambi bolt release for getting "back in the action" faster between reloads.
Our Gen4 lowers are only shipped as an assembled lower and are available with standard Mil-Spec LPK, RRA two-stage trigger or Timney match trigger. We can also source JP and Geissele triggers. If you have a trigger group or LPK you would like to use, we do not charge to install it. With some of the features we have employed and additional parts and fitting required, we want to ensure your Gen 4 lower is functioning flawlessly before it leaves our shop. We are now selling our Gen4 uppers and lowers as a matched set for the tightest possible fit.

Thanks for the clarification.Reading this again I can see some ambiguity so will address this with the web guys asap.
Yes, for $550.00 we will supply you a lower. If you send us your LPK we will fit it and install it into the lower and ensure function at no added cost. Your total exposure is the $550.00 for the lower plus applicable taxes and shipping costs if required.![]()
all i can say to Rick and ATRS.... work sets you free (Arbeit macht frei )
anyway enough of the joking, a lot of people have commented in this thread and said "how expensive" things are, yes they are expensive but not unresonably so.... they assemble each rifle by hand one at a time, again I will point out they have done the canadian ar15 a solid by getting the CAA 10 round magazines made, those that own thier products have all raved about quality, here we have a canadian GUNSMITH who will make your rifle right.
when I was getting my long range rifle made we discussed back and forth parts and such, and he built the rifle the way I wanted it. the only thing we changed at his suggestion was the barrel lug, a lot of gunsmiths are very edgy about installing parts they have not worked with before but rick was all into it, we sent a timeline, depsoit was sent and every month for 4 months while I was on a driling rig (with internet and email) i sent further payment..... he worked with me to afford a better rifle then i otherwise could have. (complete package with nxs scope and fitted pelican case)
support local as much as you can, you owe it to yourself to buy quality once in a while, everything doesn't have to be norinco.
You don't get to charge what they charge and survive as long as them without being good. Enough said
Thank you everyone that replied I guess i will be buying from them when I have the money
i'm a mechanical engineer and i kind-of know what i'm talking about.
How is their AT15 muzzle brake?
Get a KAC, no jokes. I don't think I could be impressed any further. I'm a mechanical engineer and I kind-of know what I'm talking about.
So then does 1 assume you own an AT15 and have made detail comparisons between the 2 makes? To make a blanket statement like you have without having both to compare is rather ridiculous.
How does being a mechanical engineer make any difference apart from adding a degree of arrogance to your post?
Sorry but this is epic fail unless you have something definitive, you are only putting out your "opinion" which are like arm pits, and everyone has a couple.
