I consider owning 10 mediocre rifles to be less sensible than owning one REALLY GOOD rifle. Hits like a train, recoil like a coyote gun. lol

Think about how much of your own time and money that you might stick into your rig. Now, if you don't mind this, then that's your decesion. But for the people out there that want to buy a rifle that shoots 1/4 min groups all day long, well, now think of how much time and money that Atrs put into it. It's like buying a pos Honda and dropping thousands of dollars into it when you could have bought a Ferrari!!! To each their own!!

Rick's customer service for me has been outstanding. I haven't spent allot of $$ there, yet. One afternoon I spent close to 3 hours in his shop. Answered all my dumb questions ( aye and there were many......) with no sort of attitude or tone of voice.

When things get better for me, he will get the nod for my gun build. And accurizing guns I already have.

Am I part of "his army"?

I say no. I have been treated damn good there. So I remember that. When I get good service, I tell others.

That is the ultimate complement a business owner can get.

Has anybody done business with these guys? They have a Remington 700P in 308 for sale, its bedded ( not sure what type of bedding ) has a 20 MOA rail and a tuned trigger. its listed for $1700 bucks, does this price sound right?

Lets not forget the topic of this thread. Its about a man with a question. Help him with his question.

The original question was asked...some feed backs are positive and some are not. Not everybody is going to be satisfied with ATRS or any other gunsmiths for that matter. But when someone post negative comments about ATRS and they get jumped on by his(for the lack of words) followers.

Thread reopen after significant clean up. Stay on topic. If you have a concern about ATRS, which will assist the person asking the question...make a post but present your info in a mature and adult manner. More infractions to follow if this continues....

The Original question was ask, I wasn't the one that Slam on ATR, don't have a reason to slam on Rick or His buddy, but I would do the research first before buying, anything not just Firearm.

Please re read this....Make your point. If you have a concern, express it in a mature manner so the poster can reflect on the issues, your concerns and how it was handle so they can make an informed decision on whether to use ATRS as a gunsmith or purchase his goods. The good and the bad can go in this thread....trolling will not. If you have a concern with someone...take it to PM.

This should be clear to everyone on what is acceptable. If you would not say it to someones face....don't say it here....

I have a rem 700 in there getting bedded and the trigger done and a couple other nick knacks but the price for the rifle you want does reflect the cost of the work that has been put into it. I find ATRS gunsmithing charges to be well in line
