Alfa-proj Revolvers and Carbines available soon in Canada from Blue Line!!

I love them revolvers but would like to hold one for fit before purchase. I hope there would be a way to hold one in Quebikistan. I would love to know who would have some in stock driving distance from home

Someone posted a review of this revolver here on this forum (just different thread) in comparison to Ruger and S&W products.
Sadly it seems that trigger pull in DA is horrendous and makes it nearly impossible to consider this revolver as a service or competition handgun.

Relax, that was an ancient review (March, 2007) of a very early production piece. I'm willing to bet the new ones are a whole lot better. We'll find out soon.

Perhaps we will. I'm not willing to bet anything, so I'll just follow other people's experience with these revolvers before spending any money myself.

Here is American pricing from just over 2 years ago...MIGHT give us an idea of what to expect.

2 years + different country. I'd add 50 to 100$ to that price to give an idea of what the Canadian market will be.

why do some people expect prices to bounce 25%+ in 2 years?

In this case the importer is the retailer which means prices must be good.

Let us wait for BlueLine to publish their prices before we start making predictions that make these items undesirable.

Because everything is more expensive in Canada.
I'd like to believe that I'll be wrong, but the pessimist in me knows better :onCrack:.
If the prices are comparable to the USA prices I might buy 2 :D

The importer understands that in order to sell a fairly large volume of these pistols they must price them right. the closer they price the revolvers to the S&W the less they will sell.

The US price may include several levels of distribution costs something we don't know. Let us wait for the BlueLine prices before our speculation gets the better of us..

I totally agree, in order to sell they need to be cheap enough to justify not choosing a renown model like a ruger gp100, for example, if there is only a 100$ price difference or so. Also, the resale value will be a determining factor in choosing one over the other if the price difference is negligible.

21 days until Christmas!!!

Anymore info you can share on these?

I am very interested in a FEW models, just curious about the pricing and the fit/finish and trigger quality.
