Really enjoy the success of this thread. 300 win mag has been my darling cartridge for a long time now. Perhaps one day I will pursue a build on a short action. This thread makes my imagination run. Those blacktails are the best eating bar none.

Just 130 TTSX. I only shot targets and a handful of deer with the SSTs. We loaded them as practice bullets, but bullets are cheap in the big picture so I just shoot exclusively with TTSX now. I loaded some 180 A-Frames for it too but I don't have much of a plan to use them.

What is that knife?

Run a Googler on "solingen knife stag handle", and look on Ebay regularly, you'll find them from various makers with names you will recognize and different blade profiles. The one pictured is commonly referred to as a Buffalo Skinner.
