Order # 296***
April 03, 2024
Showing as order received.
April 13, 2024 recieved a msg on the RCMP website that is saying that my transfer request to transfer a non restricted fire arm has been approved.
I cant tell if this has been shipped to me by TI or not.

I am just trying to figure out whether I should bother calling TI for an update or just sit back and be patient as I have not been waiting for a month yet.

Anyones advice here would be appreciated.

Haha I engage in public discussions on the internet, I'd like to think that I have a sufficient combination of maturity and thick skin to manage that sort of feedback lol

At the end of the day to each their own. There is an expression in Russian that loosely translates to "there are no friends when it comes to colours and tastes"

Im a nerd and shoot often. Not to mention the amount that someone shoots their gun has no weight on whether or not they are satisfied with TIs service.

I’m of the opinion that the guns should have been advertised differently to allow for a more educated purchase for first time Type 81ers. For example, if you order LITERALLY ANY other new gun and it shows up scuffed, finish missing, dents in stock, and with a slightly warped barrel/receiver, it would be a very valid claim for warranty/replacement. But with T81 that is very normal. How the heck is a first timer supposed to know that from reading the listing on TI’s site?

And I’ve already written extensively about how I feel about TIs service. Suffice to say it is not up to current standards - they have a monopoly and they know it.

That right there has been my point all along. At least they could have had the decency to have the small text warranty terms with this information buried somewhere deep on their website. Will be interesting to see how they react to the incoming consumer protection legislation in Ontario
 
Order 282 showed up today. Mount and rail i ordered 287 showed up 4 days ago. order 291 still waiting!!. i ordered add-ons and stuff i forgot so it was a bit of a mess when i put them through. Thanks TI!! So far got everything i ordered.. Fixed barrel to receiver was about 2mm and in good order. Wood looks great. Put the side mount on it and a scope and bore sight-in was off left but scope had lots of adjustment to bring it home..
Ive had a few dealings with TI over the years and Things haven't always been perfect but they have always made it right when there were issues.
P.s. No contact was made over this current order...I just let it happen And Voila!!

Still on that boat too, Order 273**. I wonder how many “fell by the wayside” orders will ship this week? I just hope mine will be part of it. Got my Order 284** last week though and I’m very happy with it! UF and straight. Thanks TI, now please ship my Fixed ASAP :d

Order #268** placed Mar. 12 still waiting for sling and threaded OR pins. Been waiting patiently...@TacticalImports its been over a month can you please look into this order that fell on the wayside please
 
Order 287XX- March 16 order- picked it up at the post office today. No Sling, no compensator, extra mag. I didnt contact them at all, I just let them work.

Many people’s order got delayed because TI ran out of accessories in Alberta. Like magazines and muzzle brakes. And then they snail mailed these items from one province to the other before shipping your order. And didn’t say anything to anyone unless asked. :puke:
