This is true I have watched a few videos on this but I still went with the slant compensator because it just seems like the right thing to do
plus I think it looks a lot cleaner.Edit: realized you were actually asking, and yes it was found to be more effective in the videos I watched, and yes on TI website it will work with these rifles.

It'll definitely be a lot more loud. Real Ak-74 muzzle devices have double chambers to control recoil, this one has only one, so they are not the same. Slant comp should help you to stay on target better.
The best part about this has been the immediate drop in price of scalper market pricing, it’s divine. I might buy myself another just because of that.

does the little slant work better on recoil management?
This would seem logical to me because it expels the gas upwards but I wanted confirmation, I am interested in your video if you still have the link, because in all the videos I see the 74 seems to manage the recoil better but if it is not the same of the original it becomes hard to determinate the best.

Were the changes for the M variant made for a non-Canadian client's military version, or is the M a civilian-only variant unique to the Canadian market, like the SR? While military providance is cool, having a second Canadian-only variant made by a major Chinese arms supplier before they shutdown the factory line forever would be quite the feather in TI's hat
We plan on another M shipment after these sell out, but this one took over a year to make, so it might be a while. We requested changes to the design based on end user feedback, not sure if we will also see these changes being used for military clients
Standard of living hasn't increased since Trudeau took power (GDP/capita), so our prices haven't changed either.
