All-New: Type 81M

This has been answered earlier, they will card it for pick up and should not be safe dropping on your porch or door step

you will need to go to your local post office to pick up, thats been my experience with all my orders from them in the past. I actually prefer that way to be honest

Same I prefer to just pick it up myself now... once canada post just left a rifle at my door and I live in a condo so it was super obvious and sketchy - I wasn't home so had to stop what I was doing and drive 45 min to get that thing out of the hallway haha

Wasn't Canada Post, but shipping company once dropped off 3 crates of 7.62x39 at my door when it was listed as signature required. Got the delivery notice in my email while at work and had to get permission to run home. The look on my Mcpl's face when I asked permission... He told me to go as fast as possible without getting pulled over by the MP's on base.

Same thing happened to me they left my X95 at the sidewalk leaning up against one of my cars, to lazy to walk it up to the door. Luckily I was able to get my neighbor to grab it for me who is also a member at my range. Since then I always put in the comment section of an order "card for pickup" for anything firearm related. I've only had one vendor refuse to do it.

Haha I wish I had neighbours like that

Had a neighbour come chat with me while I was taking my new rifle into the house and the guy asked me what is in the box. Just told him curtain rods now the guy thinks I collect curtain rods because of all those non descript cardboard boxes coming in and out

Hello, long time lurker, first time poster.
Thank you TI for bringing these in!

Obviously you are super busy and I understand if you are unable to accommodate. I have 2 orders submitted (272** and 273**) within an 1.5 hr of each other but the coupon code wouldnt apply, so was hit with the shipping twice.

I actually would like to buy another Fixed T81, will I get charged with the shipping again? Is there a way to combine the orders? Its alot to ask given how swamped you must be. If you are able to accommodate thank you, if not I will submit my order for another fixed later this evening!

Thank you again!

Personally I would prefer a 5.56 variant, but 6.5 Grendel would be cool too

5.56 would be cool, but I think the amount of changes may be too great; you would need a different feed ramp, bolt etc., whereas the Zastava M19 shows only a barrel and magazine (maybe?) are required for Grendel. If the factory is willing to get it working for 5.56 and by extension 300 Blackout, all the power to them!

No parts kit? Limited Magazine purchase? (only +1 allowed for 5/30 mags)

Any reason for this? any coming in?

they stated earlier magazines will be coming this summer, part kits aswell but i dont remember if they had a date for those

They made some 5.56 variants for export to the US just before their ban, so I’m sure they still have the blueprints on how to do it, they’d just need to set up the tooling again. Now whether they’d do this just for the Canadian market is another question, hopefully some head of state orders a bunch and we can get the leftovers.
