Under folder , wonder if one could dip end in that liquid rubber one can buy for dipping tools in?
Speaking of #######, there's over 200 postings in the last week alone. Never seen that volume before. Wonder why?
Take notice.. Next shipment T.I, 2 gun limit. This would allow more Gunnutz to get them rather than some sketchy Ticketmaster reseller type guy.
I've always felt that they needed to lower the limit per customer
Truth is that we can know very little about what each of us have had for personal experience.
The other day I had a female officer criticize me, and others on my team for adopting micro dots on our pistols - insisting that she doesn’t need one because she can shoot (she’s also 20 pounds over weight). I’ve also had criticism directed towards me for carrying four tourniquets, and double, sometimes triple the ammunition of my coworkers.
My response to these people is the same as yours - you don’t know what experiences that I’ve had to adopt the equipment I use.
That said some of Bartok5’s experience is public, and quite legendary.
I’m rambling…
I would have thought twice about the underfolder knowing that Bartok5 dislikes it so much. Then again, i really want it, so maybe I’ll have to learn its cons the hard way.
But like I tell new boots - you’ll never live long enough to learn everything the hard way, so learn from your veterans.
How long between “Processing” and Shipping?
Can we just start posting the first 3 digits of pur order numbers and of its out for delivery? Instead of complaining about reselling? This waiting is worse than any christmas i remember as a kid.
Got mine today, took it apart. Solid. Best type 81 so far. Best LOP (for me at least). The underfolder is tilting slightly down and the sight picture is perfect as TI mentioned. The AK pictured is straight, that's why.
For the cheekbone people, I tried the cheek rest from my SR since I don't use it (Sigmaco-ed AR end) and it fits perfectly! Very nice sight pictures and comfy rest for the cheekbone softies. I am sure there are many other solutions.
Ah, seen. I am glad that somebody was on the ball with an early warning. In all honesty, although the Underfolder is an ergonomic nightmare it will probably suffice for the casual "fun-shooter/plinker" who only fires the rifle a handful of times per year. For the more frequent shooter, YMMV in direct correlation to the number and frequency of rounds fired.
Unfortunately, the more acute ange of the T81M's deployed Buttstock is going to result in even greater battering of the Buttstock's Locking Pins against the holes in the Receiver and the Stock's locking assembly. When it comes to wear and tear, the straighter the Buttstock the better....
