All-New: Type 81M

TI needs to charge progressively more for every extra unit sold after a certain limit, kinda like in a stock market if you are bidding up the price with a lot of volume it goes up.

The price goes up because the next seller is asking more for his share. Youre advocating exactly the opposite of what you want.

Can we get this back on track before it gets locked? Lets see some pics of the underfolders people are starting to get in. Ill share some underfolder teasers tomorrow

For the cheekbone people, I tried the cheek rest from my SR since I don't use it (Sigmaco-ed AR end) and it fits perfectly! Very nice sight pictures and comfy rest for the cheekbone softies. I am sure there are many other solutions.

Do you mind posting a picture of the setup?

They’re available on eBay from time to time, no markings on it or anything it came with to indicate where or who makes it. Even the add is vague, mount works well though

I wonder what other sight mounts will work with the underfolder, this one is nice but I just wish it had a picatinny rail version.

I plan on trimming the plate in the receiver and using a bakelite grip that I already have kicking around

Bakelite AK style grip? Is it longer and/or has better ergonomics than the T81 style grip? I've used custom, Fab Defense and beaver barf grips on my VZ, this will be my first T81.

Maybe I have some old gear lurking around. I have big and wide hands, the original VZ58 grip was pretty tiny I thought.

I have big hands too and I find the AK bakelite grip better, Its longer and wider than the original type 81 grip IIRC. I found the og beaverbarf vz58 grip small too

Nah they are geometrically almost the same. Bakelites are a tad longer. A functional benefit of the Bakelites is that they dont loosen up as easily over time. I find the bolt head in the wood Type 81 grips settle more and more after each time you re tighten it.
