TI needs to charge progressively more for every extra unit sold after a certain limit, kinda like in a stock market if you are bidding up the price with a lot of volume it goes up.
For the cheekbone people, I tried the cheek rest from my SR since I don't use it (Sigmaco-ed AR end) and it fits perfectly! Very nice sight pictures and comfy rest for the cheekbone softies. I am sure there are many other solutions.
Anyone remove the hideous pistol grip and toss a polymer or bakelite/Fakelite on one of these under folders yet????
If so pics or it didn't happen![]()
They’re available on eBay from time to time, no markings on it or anything it came with to indicate where or who makes it. Even the add is vague, mount works well though

Let’s keep this on topic please
First thing I am doing to mine, second thing is staining the orange/yellow handguards
Saw a Hogue AK grip on a T81M on reddit. Looked good.
They are rubber or rubberized polymer, easy to modify.

I plan on trimming the plate in the receiver and using a bakelite grip that I already have kicking around
I have big hands too and I find the AK bakelite grip better, Its longer and wider than the original type 81 grip IIRC. I found the og beaverbarf vz58 grip small tooBakelite AK style grip? Is it longer and/or has better ergonomics than the T81 style grip? I've used custom, Fab Defense and beaver barf grips on my VZ, this will be my first T81.
Maybe I have some old gear lurking around. I have big and wide hands, the original VZ58 grip was pretty tiny I thought.
