I think the few examples of rifles with QC issues posted here have generated some paranoia.
Received my underfolder today.
Looking like there's a few issues.
1- the folder is off center a little bit. Not as bad as the other dude who posted his. Mine is pretty straight along the receiver and then goes off centered over the grip. Not a huge deal and could likely be bent to be centered.
2- the chamber is pretty gnarly looking. Please correct me if I'm wrong but every rifle I've ever had has been smooth and even. This one is wonky and has extra material left. A bullet would not sit fully seated.
3- the barrel does appear to be off centered. I can notice it with the naked eye but this string test confirmed it. Rifle was leveled in my tripod and the string is fed through the rear peep and tied to the front post. My phone was also leveled for taking the pic.
4- some light wear marks on the finish but these don't bother me as they would have inevitably came with use. Didn't bother taking pics. Might bother others.
I'll be sending TI pictures and asking for a refund myself.
Looks pretty fine to me, doubt you will get a better one

Same. 2017 import side folder. That's the way the chamber is supposed to look. From the pics, aside from the folder being slightly askew, that rifle looks pretty decent. I'll echo Jeffman's comment above, in being that if I didn't already have one coming, I be happy to purchase it from richmyster.

Just read on my CP app that "Delivery Dates are not Guaranteed". I guess that's what we paid $35 for...

Most of these issues people are posting with their rifles show a stamped folding stock that isn't true or fitted properly. Don't see many mechanical defects... just cosmetic.

Initial inspection UF arm is straight with receiver, folded and when out. No visible wear marks on metal or wood. Box included extra 5/30 mag I ordered but no slanted muzzle. Is the slanted compensator shipped separately for others?

What version is this? Looks like shellac'd Chu wood...
The folders that came with the wood cheekpiece look cool.
Yes we got a ton of parts, but warehouse told us initially there wasn't, probably because there was so many orders to go out. So we're having them look. But it's on the manifest
