Show us a view that actually shows the barrel, not just the sight tower. That goes for the other guy too. These sight towers can be shifted left and right fully for zeroing purposes.

Having said that... yikes that's quite severely bent assuming the sight tower is centered with the barrel. Better measure the amount of deviation exactly.
 
Personally i am hesitant to cancel the entire order, my first order number is 269 the second 282 absolutely nothing ship... The reason is that my order is big and must be "assembled" the more money you spend the longer you wait, it's not really cool... and the photos of curved it's crazy

It was about time the "professor" got pinked, I wonder what was the straw that broke the camels back, he had been going for like 100 pages, one less troll. Anyways, still waiting for my order to ship, high 284XX, ordered on the 15th, order processing on the 22nd, transfer on the 29th, not shipped yet.

As requested burnyburnout, pic added to show the rifle too. I just followed up with TI. I'm not ok with the bend regardless of what they consider to be "in spec".

Let me put it this way - any deviation from Type 81 military configuration is the reason for issues, but AK and SVD cope and demand is strong in Canada so here were go with fantasy rifles with bubba-grade modifications.

Very true. People just buy cheap Chinese stuff. It is not that the Chinese cannot make good firearms but the price point has to be met. And TI knew that he had to keep the price at $1,200 and not make the same mistake as he did with the SR or LMG - which are of much higher quality. I am sure he and the Chinese are still laughing how somebody can pay that kind of money for such a rifle.

It's not even cheap on the used market, the Type 81s are pricey as heck on GP 2k each
