Here's my Sako 85 in .270 Win. Scope is a Swarovski Z6 1.7-10x42 in Sako one-piece (no bases) low ring mounts. Total weight of the rig as shown is 8.6 lbs., about as heavy as I want my hunting rifles to be.

is the 8.6 with the magazine , cause that is light for that set up
Wasn't aware that 85's were made with Hinged floorplates. Is that common to that version? What is it?
Normally I'm on team floorplate but the 85 has the best dbm running

I currently own one Sako. It's the L61R Finnbear Deluxe. It was originally chambered in the 338 Winchester Magnum. I had it re-barreled in the 7mm Remington Magnum, 26" Bob Jury stainless steel, plus a Henry Rempel muzzle brake. I had it for 2.5 years and haven't fired a shot out of it, the barrel is still new.
