yea I ran 3000 through my M&P 40 in 4 days without cleaning. Not one failure. I will be receiving my glock this week... See how it does !
 
I am willing to take you up on that challenge. I dont have a 1911 though. I will be running my HK P30L.
 
Are you looking to stroke your ego or are you inhaling all the crack smoke floating over that cesspool where you make all your cash? you post up a video with someone you know who shoots vintage 1911's and you in all your brand new tacticool gear shooting 1000 rounds at a time....should be real interesting and intertaining..####..i can fly out and take you up on your kool aid inspired quest.

I commute back and forth to ft Mac every 6 days, I'll stay up a cycle and take that challenge. 1000 rounds on you I'll even let you pick the 1911 outta my stable you want me to use. Let me quess you also planned on using a g17 against my 45




All kidding aside pm me if your serious, I think it would be fun accuracy orientated ei ipsc or idpa orientated.

This is a straight up function test, not whos the best shooter, as i know im not that great. Let me know when you would want to do this. I know the holidays are coming up, so we could do it in the new year. This time of year, we would need a range officer to open the basement range for us, as we would freeze in the pistol bays. I know such a range officer, he is a member on here, i could even ask him to do the video. As i dont guess anybody is rich, i picked 1000 rounds as a decent test. As i have had 2 1911s and have not made it past 400 without one failure.

Ill be using my Glock 22 rtf2 as previously stated. I think it would be interesting too. Let me know.

If you guys do it, please do more than 1000. It's really not much, many on this forum shoot that amount over a weekend without cleaning the gun.
It's not really a challenge at all.

Make it 5k, no cleaning, over a few days or weeks.
