Alot of scopes are just rebadged.

It sure does, hunting with a scope rifle combo that was function checked at the range 24 hrs previous to hunting and now watching a magnificent Buck walk out and present a clear safe ethical shot close enough for a 7 iron on a Par 3 hole, only to have your projectile fly off to God knows wherever.
That will make you hate a brand for life.
Called out a coyote for a friend, at 100 yards facing us, a clean miss off of triggersticks tripod. Checked scope, had moved 6" right, just far enough to miss. Attempted to adjust scope, no change first attempt, so dialed in more adjustment, and point of impact suddenly jumped way more than adjustment. This was my third experience like this with Vortex.

Just be aware that re-branded products are not always the same item, as some have said.

For example, John Deere and Stihl both make cheapened models for giant urban retailers like Home Depot. For city people who won't know the difference.

These lower lines are not sold at actual JD and Stihl dealers.

DeWalt used to do this too with HD exclusive models.

I'm beginning to think many guys here don't hunt. They pull up to the range in corvettes manbuns, and little tissues for the sweat they get from touching their $2,400 dollar scope the guy at the gun store said was the best.

No sense trying to insult some of us there mogulrider. Next you'll be telling me I should buy celestion binoculars because they have cool orange lenses. You like what you like, and I'll like the good stuff.
I have hunted for over 40 years, and learned a lot in that time. I can afford the good stuff, therefore I shall buy the good stuff.
