Went out hunting last weekend. Had a chance to check my zero on Saturday morning. Took one shot, 1/2" low and left. Close enough.
The interesting part happened next. I go to eject the cartridge and lo and behold the case doesn't eject. I had pull the bolt out the back to remove it. And THEN I had to disassemble my bolt to fix the problem, because my bolt head was backwards! Lol Looks like I fkked up putting it together last week... And it's a good thing I keep a tool box in the truck that just happened to have the right size allen key, cause that's not in my hunting kit...
So there you have it. My little story about why you should always function test your stuff before you actually need it.
