Stop cleaning it. Shoot it until the groups open up then clean.
you guys don;t clean your rifles after to put about 50 rounds through it?
i have a stevens 200 in .308 and been taking it to the range on once a week, i shoot about 80-100 shots each trip, this is in the spand of 4-5 hours. i usually do 5 shot in a few mins then let the barrel cool. i also do a thorough cleaning after every trip though. am i too hard on teh barrel? i don;t want to have to change it after 6 months
wow i never knew that, i wish this is the kind of thing they teach you during your pal course. should i just run a patch or two of hoppes in and then some oil in between range trips though or you guys just don't touch the bore until it needs it?
