I bought the last case of S.A. 7.62x51mm from Frontier Firearms this morning
Well good for you, I called at noon EST and it was gone. Early bird gets the worm, eh?

Higginson's has great prices and a good supply of the Lee brand. Lee works well for me.

Yep, I took the advice given and called higginson's. The Lee press kit seems to be the best deal going. Can't wait to go for a drive to Hawkesbury. Maybe christmas will come early.
Don't get your hopes up. They don't really have a store, just a service counter and a wall in front of their warehouse. The guy takes your order and goes to the shelves to pick it. As far as preparing ahead of time, you are better off carefully reading the catalogue and deciding which bits and pieces you want. Have an idea of some alternatives if they are out of stock. I also think you need to order ahead for the powder because they store it somewhere else.
But, they are a Canadian supplier and have been good to the sport. It is worth our while to return the favour by giving them our business.
When I bought my M305 cheap surplus ammo was still plentiful, bt as you know this is no longer the case. My advice is to take the plunge and buy an inexpensive reloader. For a couple hundred bucks you will no longer be at the "mercy" of the market for affordable ammo. If you check out the reloading threads and do some research you'll find reloading is not as intimidating as it first appears.
