Ammo Supply

Either they are new to the game... or they failed to learn from history...
- with the spike in votes meterializing out of thin air in the middle of the night, I'm afraid it will get a whole lot worst before it gets any better.

With the number of people asking retailers about financing or asking if I can hold EE items until they get paid, I'm guessing a lot of people here live paycheck to paycheck and spend beyond their means. Would explain why some people don't buy ammo in excess.

WTF does it matter if the guy was native? man you guys are some ignorant folks around here

I was in my local LGS the other day and cleaned him out of 7mm rem mag 160gr partitions....... and guess what? I'm a fuggen native too so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
man people sure piss me off on this site with their veiled and not so veiled racist pig remarks.

Not indigenous, but agreed. Can't hold it (the race or the bulk purchase) against the guy, or anyone for that matter. Maybe he was buying all the .30-06 for his hunting buddies. If people here had the funds to do it and a large friend group, I could see them doing the same. Or even just buying for themselves. We're all saying buying ammo is smart, so this guy is just really smart.

- can't blame him for buying ammo tax-free... we're the dumb-agreable ones.

If it's something we agreed to then it's the way it is. I don't even know if they could pay taxes if they asked for it on individual purchases. Either way, certainly not something to hold against an individual. It would be like hating someone for a birthmark or being born on a certain day.

all the race talk aside.
My current thoughts on ammo purchasing right now?
I have enough surplus ammo for my target shooting needs though i could use a few more bricks of 22
My hunting and reloading purchasing right now is based on the desire to ensure I have enough supply for the next decade. 54 this year so if I'm lucky I'll have 10 good years of hunting left as long as I can keep my back from blowing out again. That's one reason for "bulk" buying , the other is that with the current "regime" in this country I see it only getting more difficult and more expensive to purchase anything ammo related, either due to demand or by some backroom design.
I think millions of other gun owners north america wide are feeling the same purchasing urges based on the uncertainty this world finds itself currently lavishing in.

Pretty much in the same boat.
- Hopefully I still got more than 10 good years of hunting :p Whether it be the body giving up or the gov. making illegal...

Same could be said about firearms.

Yup. Probably in ten years if Turd keeps getting in we'll be lucky to still have levers, pumps and bolt guns to legally use. The gangbangers on the other hand....

Tenda had .22LR CCI standard velocity for $5/50 recently. Not bad for accurate enough ammo.

Over the past few years I bought a 1000 round case of CCI SV every time they were on sale, 5000 round case if it was a real good sale. The result is having tens of thousands of rounds and being able to brush off any rimfire ammo shortage I'm faced with. I wish I bought more mini mags though. Still have plenty, but not nearly as much as the SV.

yes I've seen some decent sale prices on a few different types of bulk ammo but with canpar no longer doing the shipping of ammo or reloading stuff.... I am stuck due to UPS not shipping to my rural town.... not controlled or dangerous goods anyhow.
I cleaned my local guy out of CCI quiets and shorts and grabbed a few bricks of federal and blazer standard fare stuff which he still has lots of behind the counter. I just need it for grouse and bunnies and the occasional chicken harvest hehehe

that thought crossed my mind and i'm sure others that are in the business of selling ammo have thought those same things.
My back is toast so long haul driving is not in the cards for me hehehe

...... wife was looking at whitehorse real estate again today. She keeps teasing me with that idea LOL
