an official Gsg-16 with 9 inch barrel coming soon

Im curious how many GSG-16 they have sold in Canada so far? It must be a LOT

As a business, making a custom version just for a maximum customer base of ~2 million and jumping through all the gov hoops is expensive and risky.

I wish them nothing but success!

does this AR stock still hold a mag(it doesnt show in the pic)? cuz that's a cool feature that i use all the time.

no, not a mag holder stock. those are aliexpress stock.

i would never be caught with the mag in my gsg-16 stock, lol. its ugly in it. matter of fact, i swap it out for MP5 stock right away.

I wouldn't count on the dlask ones getting cheaper.

ofcos it would, why would anybody pay more for dlask when you can buy factory cheaper ($649)? but when factory are sold out then dlask will rise back up.

im betting it would cos i already sold my dlask.

Dlask stated that they are too busy for any more GSG16 barrels and have been completely sold out for some time.

Dlask were the originators in Canada and they used Lothar Barrel Blanks which are super quality. Remember that if it wasn't for Dlask, GSG would never have introduced the 9" version if Dlask hadn't proved the massive market demand.

I never was that impressed with the GSG factory 16" barrel, it would lose center and start to wander after warming up. Never had a problem with the Dlask Barrel

Still very happy with GSG bringing this to market!

i never had any problem with either. its irrelevant who started/intro the 9" barrel but honestly, i dont care about who manufactured the barrel. i want factory made at a lower price.

Cool.

Lots of people are willing to pay extra for the quality that is associated with the Dlask name. Just because YOU won't doesn't mean others won't, and it certainly doesn't mean people are going to sell guns they paid $900 for at a big loss just because you can get a cheap facsimile from the factory now.

You can get a Ruger 10/22 for $300, and a Remington 870 for slightly more. Yet, Dlask sells a bunch of their 10/22s for more than twice that and were just selling an 870 for $1300, which is sold out.

cheap facsimile? lol .... well, i placed my bet already by selling my dlask so we shall see.

Don't get me wrong. I'm looking at buying one of the new factory shorties, the dlask ones were nice but i couldn't justify the cost for a plinker... I just don't think it's an apples to apples comparison between that and the Dlask.
