As for being resentful, hell I am always this way, sometimes even nasty (on a god day)

No longer bed ridden I get back to the office to enjoy most of my e mails from really nice people, a group which appears to have denied you membership.

can't argue with you there, it's been a rough week:|
good health to you john. sorry if i 'lost my shi-ite'; certainly hasn't relieved any of my frustration. i guess i'll find out how much it cost to ship when it gets here. as for sending it back, that sounds like more work and frustration.
lesson. learned.
 
I hear you big plinker on the shipping,to make things worse the numbers dont match on the rifle either.

Well, the SKS finally arrived from Marstar, and it is indeed a nice little gun (the serial #'s do line up on mine, factory #306 in the #1500000 range. And I did finally receive my invoice, and it appears I was overcharged $37.40 for taxes, which I'm hoping is soon rectified.
Either way, albeit involving a little frustration, the weapon and ammo are definitely worth it; the funnest weapon I have to shoot (it's a lot cheaper than my lever action 44).
Next step, peep sight and a 20 round clip.

I've had mine from this deal for a few months. 800 rounds later and I think it is a great value and awesome way to learn maintance of more complicated guns.

Scratch it? Who cares! My screw driver set cost more that the rifle :)

The ammo is steel core, corrosive, typical M-43 ball....

Shipping is not included, however $75. should cover the total shipping to most destinations, closer would be cheaper....

NO this deal cannot be picked up in Ottawa....

Shipping to Penticton when I bought my SKS cost about $85 for the ammo (which if I was the post-man carrying something that heavy across the country I'd demand more!) and the rifle was $30 to ship.

The SKS I received is obviously brand new and a good looking rifle. All ser #s match but it has no factory markings of any kind other than the ser #. Anyone know why? The ammo cost me just over $90.00 and the rifle $35.00 to ship to Vancouver Island. I think it is a great deal.:D:D:D
