Thanks arms east!!! this is amazing.... so pumped. I will hold off for 308, was there a eta on 20" 308? I did read every page but must have missed it.
as long as the bcg and bbl are good this should be a winner at this price.

We will post an ETA for the STAG-10 CDN 308 later this week. It will be a chrome lined 20" barrel. Stag Arms has always provided us with accurate barrels and excellent bcgs. I am sure you'll like it!

I'll be replacing the trigger anyways but thought if it came with the two stage I could wait a little longer as the Stag two stage is not really a bad trigger

By law, an 18" centre fire semi-auto is restricted, so Stag Arms is manufacturing us a 20" model. If anyone wants a restricted Stag-10, we can sell you an 18" rifle, no problem.

What weight saving do you believe you would get?

Stag makes a heavy 16.5" version for the usa and it is 8lbs with the 13.5" diamond handguard.

A 18.5 light prophile version would come in at the same weight or less. Much better than the 11lb weight we see on the complete long barrel rifles

There's a few nice 18.5-20" barrel options out there in both 308 and 6.5 that weigh under 2.5 lbs. That's my threshold for a lightweight AR-10 build. The barrel I put in my BCL102 is freaking sweet... lightweight, accurate and 18.5".

I'm probably gonna stick to 308 again for my Stag 10 because of bulk Hirtenberger at $0.68 a round and 308 ballistics are good enough for me.
