Another quick hunt pays off......
Rush home from work, grab my gear and off I go.......
This farm has a small swampy area just in front of me but a big bush to the North. I setup close to the little swampy area in case a coyote was hiding in there but figured percentage wise it would come from the north and that’s exactly what happened. After about 5-6 minutes into the set playing a dying rabbit sound from my ecaller I notice a stump on a little hill in the background. I wasn’t sure if it was truly a stump or possible a coyote. I didn’t want to move (look through the scope) to confirm just in case my movement gives me away. I figure its too far for me to shoot anyway so if it’s a coyote it will eventually move and suspicions will be confirmed. I watched the stump for 30 seconds then lowered the volume on the ecaller and notice my stump to start running toward me. Its soon behind the hill, I place my gun (on my shooting sticks) facing the opening to this field. Another 30 seconds go by before I see it. It clears the debris and has a good look at my ecaller/decoy. With it slightly quartering to me I put the crosshairs on her chest (120 yds out) and let it fly. I see her drop…. The bullet hit her chest (head on) and went out her side (ribs)…. DRT

I was sitting with my back up against that tree right behind me in this pic…
