Just when I thought I had everything running smoothly with Canpar/Loomis
I've done everything they wanted. Signed release to leave with Loomis and Canpar
Scanner decal in proper place. Many orders delivered, non-firearm this time also
So go to depot?? And who would have thought I should bring my copies of release to prove I've signed them??
New driver?? No same driver..
Then they get snooty how they have instructed their drivers not to leave without a release??
Yeah but I've signed a release??
Walk out door just steaming!!!! How can this be so hard??????
 
Sorry mate, I feel your frustration.

You would think that if you signed their contract (the release form) that they need to keep the copy of it. It's their rules, not yours. But it sounds as if they believe it's not their problem?
 
Wow, I'm seriously offended...I work for Canpar and let me be clear, there is NO chance anyone will ever get hired if they are borderline retarded. If you don't hit full retard you don't get hired!! ;)
 
well at least it wasnt stolen or lost. i have had a package notification pop up for me on my phone. said a package was delivered and i even got a copy of the signature. my signature that i guess signed for while at work 20km away from home.
 
Lucky thus far with Canpar with great service. Depot is in Burnaby, 5 minutes away, great for those that can afford to live in Burnaby.
 
Canpar out of Calgary always treats me right. It might be since they have a pretty big sorting facility or whatever here but I'm always surprised to hear horror stories about them.
 
CanPar is good, it's the Loomis employees that haven't bought into the merger yet who have the terrible customer service.
 
So far everything I have had come Canpar has been OK. Their tracking system isn't the best but the stuff has arrived on time (mostly) and undamaged.
 
That's why I'm puzzeled. Because I have had great service and I'm one of the guys who posted in other threads about how good they WERE....
It's like stepping into a different time warp dealing with them now!!
 
Never had a problem in delivery times, nor pickup at our local Canpar in Kamloops which is at Purolator. The people there have been great at customer service.
 
I was out of town for 4 days last week, I left a signed note on door directing them to put on drivers seat of the Ranger they pulled in behind, and lock the door. They didn't take the signed note, and left it leaning against my front door of house.
